SsangYong reveals range-extended concept: At the Geneva Motor Show, the SsangYong Tivoli EVR is on display. The Korean concept combines an electric drive (95 kW) with a small combustion engine and a 25-kWh Li-ion battery. The all-electric range is set at 130 kilometres (80 miles).

The future is coming to Europe: Toyota has announced to launch its Mirai fuel cell model in Europe by this September. Due to hydrogen infrastructure development, sales will begin in Germany, Denmark, and Great Britain. The initial price is 66,000 euros excl. VAT and the Mirai will be also be available to lease, but only 50 to 100 Mirai units are set to be delivered to Europe annually in 2015 and 2016.

Chinese Tesla copycat? An electric sedan is set to hit the Chinese market in the second half of 2015. The Aoxin Ibis is said to offer up to 460 kilometres (285 miles) of range and while the logo reminds one of Tesla, the EV itself does not so much. Three electric motors are driving the rear wheels with 135 kW.
