2016 Chevy Volt coming to Canada: Canadians will be able to buy the second-generation Chevrolet Volt by November or December this year – ahead of 39 U.S. states, where potential buyers will have to wait until the spring of next year to receive a 2017 model Volt.
Home charger on sale on Amazon: ChargePoint’s Home charging station is now available on Amazon. The charger is priced from 499 to 749 dollars, depending on the power level, installation type and cord length. ChargePoint’s mobile app can be downloaded via the Google Play or App Store.
ClipperCreek expands HCS product line: The new HCS-30 is a 24 Amp Level 2 charging station designed to serve the residential and workplace charging markets. Priced at 565 dollars, ClipperCreek’s new charging solution includes a 3-year warranty and 25 feet of charge cable.
Dutch startup Picnic uses electric vehicles to deliver groceries for free and is currently running a pilot project that involves 150 households in the Dutch city of Amersfoort. The company will soon open up its services to all inhabitants of the city and has plans to further expand.
