Reading tip: Incentives work, or at least it is clearly demotivating if they seize to exist as this example from Georgia illustrates. Once the state scrapped the 5,000-dollar subsidy in July, EV sales shrunk substantially from 1,338 in June to 776 in July until in August only 148 EVs were sold.
