Hybrid racer debut: Audi releases technical details of its R18 set to debut in the FIA World Endurance Championship Prologue this week. The LMP1 car features a new hybrid system with a total output of more than 736 kW (1,000 hp). Energy is stored in a Li-ion battery instead of a flywheel as was the case in previous versions.
