Exactly 102,252 electric and hybrid cars were newly registered in the EU in the Q3 of 2016, according to the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA). A total of 14,452 electric cars (+11.8% compared to Q3 2015), 19,998 plug-in hybrids (+26.4%) and 67,802 hybrids (29.2%) hit the road.
