Diesel ban in Stuttgart by 2018: There will be no more diesel cars allowed on certain streets in the hometown of Porsche and Mercedes from next year onwards. The ruling coalition of the green and conservative party voted in favour of driving bans for vehicles below Euro 6 norm on days with high air pollution. Stuttgart suffers from fine particle pollution.
