Small autonomous shuttles are currently all the rage. Henrik Fisker has introduced now his own version of such a vehicle – of course electric-powered. The Orbit has been developed through a cooperation with the Chinese Hakim Unique Group.

The shuttle could hit UK stores as early as 2018, given that there is a demand for it. Technical details have not yet been provided, but the bar has been raised as Fisker refers to the Orbit as “one of the world’s most forward-thinking and uniquely designed electric, autonomous shuttles”.

Both partners share the project’s work as follows: Fisker is in charge of development and production of the new shuttle. The Chinese are taking care of its marketing and operation in Asian cities. The Hakim Unique Group is said to be a specialist for Smart City infrastructure.
