e.Go Mobile, the startup based in Germany’s EV hotspot Aachen, has come to Hannover to present its digitisation strategy. Based on the Microsoft cloud Azure, e.Go Digital is to help the firm’s electric autonomous mini bus to move smartly through urban traffic.

The startup is working on mobility solutions which will be hosted through Microsoft’s Azure cloud solution. e.Go Digital is the unit in charge of app development. The aim is to offer on-demand mobility solutions using Advanced Analytics and artificial intelligence. For now e.Go Digital has developed future scenarios with hub at which drivers may leave their cars and switch to self-driving EVs for example.

e.Go Mobile’s little electric bus the e.Go Mover has been available to order for some time now but will only hit the road by 2019. Those interested in buying can now take a look at the Microsoft booth at Hannover Messe. Furthermore, e.Go Mobile is running a pop-up store in Neuss, close to Cologne.
