Greenwashing required
Misunderstandings surround all new technology but Britain’s Go Ultra Low campaign found yet another electric car myth staining this new (kind of) form of transport.
Take this for an example: Apparently, 42 percents of Brits do not know if you can put an electric car through a car wash. Other beliefs included 47% of people thinking that petrol or diesel cars accelerate faster than pure electric ones. Wwe are tempted to say “ludicrous”!
Still, 25% think EVs are more expensive to maintain and 52% of British participants are saying they wouldn’t be able to describe what an EV is to someone else. True that.
