Car2go is expanding their EV sharing service at the Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. The World Trade Centre there will house 16 spots for the Car2go vehicles with eight chargers.

Furthermore, the sharing vehicles are now also available to be picked up and dropped off around the clock. This is made possible by the addition of a Car2go hub near the terminal. The access is granted through an automated system, which recognizes the vehicles via a camera at the gate.

Shiphol is the second location in Holland, after Stadshart Amsterveen, where customers can begin or end their journey outside of the Dutch capital. In Europe, Car2go is operating 13 fleet locations at airports, namely in Austria, Germany, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands.
