Glasgow Airport introduces electric buses
Glasgow has introduced a three-strong fleet of battery-electric buses for its carpark operations and claims this a first in the UK. Built in Scotland by Alexander Dennis Limited (ADL) and BYD, it is the new Enviro200EV model’s Scottish debut.

Kamag presents electric catering vehicle for all aircrafts
Kamag presents the new E-Catering Wiesel (ECW) at the Inter Airport Europe trade show. According to the manufacturer, the catering vehicle for loading and unloading commercial aircraft is the first to have an electro-hydraulic drive with no harmful emissions and also speaks of “unrivalled range”.

Oslo airport orders 8 VDL electric buses
VDL Bus & Coach announced another order for electric buses, this time from the airport of the Norwegian capital Oslo. Avinor Oslo Airport ordered eight Citea SLFA-181 Electric buses from VDL for use as shuttle buses from next year.

H2 filling stations for Paris airports by Air Liquide
Air Liquide and airport operator Groupe ADP opened the first hydrogen station in an airport zone in France at the Paris-Orly Airport. Another H2 station will follow at Charles de Gaulle Airport and near Versailles in 2018.Â
