It’s not what you think…
If you see someone bobbing around, wildly turning their Tesla’s steering wheel while being perfectly stationary at the charger, they may not be crazy. At least, not in the way you thought: it’s just Tesla’s Arcade.
The Arcade now allows Tesla drivers to play a series of games on their car’s touchscreens. Some of these games let you use Tesla’s steering wheel to race along the track as the game plays out on the vehicle’s centre screen.
When your car can do zero-to-sixty faster than you can make your next move, we call that a checkmate.

The Arcade is intended as entertainment while charging, that is, of course, if you’re not lucky enough to be stopped at a Supercharger site with a drive-through cafe and waiters on rollerskates. You’d better choose, trying both is bound to end in tears.
