Canadian parents want clean school buses
The parent initiative “For Our Kids” is working to ensure that only electric school buses are purchased in British Columbia. Their aim is to push the province to phase out their current diesel fleet of school buses within 10 years.
They also point to the fact that while the popular electric school buses used in the USA are actually made in Canada, they have gone as far as Virginia and California before being employed in their native country. We hope their pleas gain political clout.
