Your extra range covered
The French solar-film specialist firm Armor has designed an automatically retractable solar cover for cars. It has been shown covering a Gazelle electric car, but Armor says the cover could be used on any kind of electric vehicle.
Providing EVs with extra range via solar panels is not a new idea, but the implementation by Armor would allow this to be done after production, unlike Sono Motors solar EV Sion. Armor claims that their solar cover can recover 15 km of range with 8 hours of outside exposure.
