Imagine an ID.3 design 30 years in the future

The ID.3 is not even on the market yet and Volkswagen is already giving car designers the task of designing the “ID.3 of the year 2050”. The competition on Instagram is being held for World Design Day. According to the Group, the winning design will be produced as a 3-D print on a scale of 1:4.

Looking forward to the 2020 ID.3 - but for future design versions, we know one things for certain: It’ll have sliding or suicide doors, which the final version won’t ship with.
