Amsterdam to electrify gas stations

There are 55 petrol stations in and around Amsterdam. A motion now submitted to the city council by the D66 party plans to convert around 30 of the petrol stations on municipal land into fast-charging locations for EVs in the next five years.

This is necessary to achieve the city’s goals for the electrification of transport and, as reported, the Dutch capital city wants to ban all petrol and diesel vehicles by 2030.

Won’t matter as the CDA, VVD, PVV en FvD, who basically work for Shell, will try and gut any future plans, like their new eviceration of the 1 July EV subsidy scheme. "Oh, we’ll give you €4000 to buy an EV, but only the first 2500 of you.” - the Dutch news sites have been totally quiet on this, but I guess the anger will rise in the heat of summer.
