Tesla scores the superlatives
After Tesla recently came in last place in a quality study in the USA on customer complaints about new vehicles, a survey from China now paints a completely different picture: The Tesla Model 3 manufactured in China had by far the fewest complaints (0.7 per 10,000 new cars) – six times less than the second-placed car model.
While the announcement is presents a nice reprieve for Tesla following recent criticism in the US, they were also not the only US manufacturer that made the cut: “Tesla Model 3 reached the top for the first time with its outstanding complaint sales ratio. This is also the first time that an American brand model has won the championship in recent years. Chevrolet Cruze, another model on the list, performed equally eye-catching this quarter,” said the announcement.
