Motiv Power Systems introduced the newest generation of its EPIC chassis for medium-duty electric fleets. The latest iteration features a reduced number of components by 30 per cent, while also improving range, acceleration, and speed.
The chassis system uses high-performance batteries from BMW and includes Motiv’s latest ‘AdaptEV’ software. The BMW battery packs come with a five-year or 75K mile warranty. The software solution for the EPIC chassis provides several features for private drivers and fleet managers, including hill hold, driver assist, two-hour high-speed charging using direct current fast charging (DCFC), telematics, and vehicle to grid (V2G) support capability.
“Falling in line with our mission to free fleets from fossil fuels, our company continues to invest in R&D to bring new technology to market that delivers exceptional results to our fleet customers,” said Motiv Chairman and CEO Matt O’Leary.
