Atlis announces prices for XT electric pickup truck

US manufacturer Atlis Motor Vehicles is now quoting prices for its XT all-electric pickup truck unveiled last year. It will feature three battery options for 300, 400 and 500 miles (around 480, 640 and 800 km) and is scheduled for launch in 2021.

The base version with a 125-kWh battery starts at $45,000, while the two longer-range variants start at $58,000 and $69,000, respectively, although Atlis does not specify the precise battery capacity for these two models. Only the range data given above provides some clues. However, these values refer to unloaded units of the battery-electric pickup truck. Reservations are already possible, and the market launch is scheduled for 2021. On its website, Atlis Motor Vehicles also offers third parties the use of its EV platform.

In addition to its range, the Atlis XT aims to score with a high towing capacity of up to 35,000 lbs (just under 16 tons via gooseneck trailer system) and a payload of up to 5,000 lbs (just under 2.3 tons). Compared with Rivian’s R1T electric pickup, the Atlis XT is to be longer and feature a load floor up to 2.4 meters long. Besides, there will be several variants of the pickup with, among other things, a shorter cargo area, off-road qualities or double rear wheels.

A look at the reservation page provides clues to the following four concretely planned four-door all-wheel-drive versions: There’s the base version with said 125-kWh battery, a two-meter-long cargo area and around 4.5 tons towing capacity. The next-higher trim level for $58,000 includes the mid-size battery for 640 km range, the same two-meter-long cargo bed and 6.35 tons of towing capacity. The XT with a large battery and up to 800 km range is also available with a 2-meter load floor and 6.35-ton towing capacity (for 69,000 euros) or as a top model with a 2.4-meter load floor, 7.7-ton towing capacity (or 16 tons via Gooseneck trailer system) for 78,000 dollars.

Atlis Motor Vehicles has fitted the pickup truck with an electric motor on each wheel, but has not yet revealed any performance figures, only this much: the electric truck can sprint from 0 to 100 kph (62 mph) in less than five seconds when empty and in less than 18 seconds when fully loaded with a trailer. The manufacturer specifies a top speed of 120 mph (a good 190 kph). There is room for six people in the luxuriously designed interior. Atlis also emphasises autonomous driving components but does not provide any details.

This truck looks awesome. The all-black motif of this electric pickup truck gives a sleek look. I hope they could also create an EV truck with dually wheels.

they are not unfortunately. They claim to be for Sale in 2021. Probably closer to the end. however, they need to raise 30mil more to get this to production according to my research. They only have 4.3mil raised by selling reg A stock. I have noticed them raising 1mil per month. last time I checked, 1 year can't squeeze in 30 months. I am afraid we won't see this awesome truck fo r along time if at all. we need a WSB or a billionaire to back them! hah. Rivian and Tesla get all the spotlight so not many people know about ATLIS and it is beyond those two per the specs!!

This company doesn't even have an electric service entrance to their building with enough capacity to test their non-existence charging station. They also do not own a 4 wheel bi-directional dynamometer to test an electric vehicle. They brag about their mirrors, headlights, tail lights, steering and infotainment systems --- you can get these at AutoZone. They will fold, you will lose your money and the exec will walk and become rich.

Have you seen the Atlis electric truck? No one has. It's the truck of the future, and always will be vaporware. This company doesn’t even have an electric service entrance to their building with enough capacity to test their non-existence charging station. They also do not own a 4 wheel bi-directional dynamometer to test an electric vehicle. They brag about their mirrors, headlights, tail lights, steering and infotainment systems — you can get these at Repco here in Australia. Its been 5 years, Atlis doesn't even have a fender. They will fold, you will lose your money and the exec will walk and become rich.

Have you seen the latest Atlis YouTube video? June 22, "Welding up the XT frame". Their "factory" looks like a third world country "chop shop" operation. Doesn't even look safe to work there. Ho on earth are they going to produce trucks? FORD F-150 Lightning will roll out one truck every 58 seconds, something to think about, 40,000 workers world wide.. Kyle

Re:Steering Wheel Video - June 24, 2021 Just looked at the Steering Wheel Video - June 24, 2021. Where is the Airbag Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) accommodation on the steering wheel?Similar big trucks have Airbag Supplemental Restraint Systems (SRS) (steering wheel mounted) and is standard equipment on Ford F-600, 2007 GMC Sierra 2500 3500, Chevrolet Silverado 2500 3500 and the new Ford F150 Lightning, and the new Lordstown Motors Endurance. Investors beware, you can't sell this design, it's an unsafe vehicle, Carrie

Wow- Just saw the Atlis prototype on Higley Rd. here in Mesa. Look great with the bigger tires, seem like they are doing some validation testing. Did a "jack rabbit start" impressive for what looks to be a 6000 lb vehicle, seemed to jump off the ground. Jake

Atlis motors is not a new start up, they are over eight years old. Mark Hanchett, CEO of Atlis Motor Vehicles had another company, now defunct, named Volta Motor Vehicles of Mesa, Google it. His current company in Mesa doesn't even have a bidirectional dynamometer, for chassis testing. There are no weather seals on the XT truck's openings. The frunk will fill with water at the first rain storm. Their facility isn't wired for their "megawatt charging station" that currently is non-existent. They have been working on their truck for 8 years+ and still don't have a battery pack or actual vehicle that is road worthy to test. Only a Styrofoam 2 mile per hour mock-up is displayed. It has the aerodynamics of a storage shed. A 5 year old child could design something better. They show seats, tires, mirrors, lights, electrical outlets, door handles and other technology that was developed in the early 1900's. None of their "inventions" are SAE or DOT approved. One must question where all the money has gone. Mark and many of his employees are paying themselves over $100,000.00 per year to work on this project. They will be asking for more money soon.

Interesting that you keep reposting the same disparaging information under different names. Perhaps the truck is serious competition for whomever you work for, and you are going to be an underdog in short order. I'm looking forward to seeing this truck and definitely want to purchase one with those towing and load capacities. Plus, it looks badass. I saw a Rivian behind me the other day, and it looks like a 60's ford van when you are look at the headlight bezels. UGLY! Ugly...Ugly.
