Xpeng recalls G3 eSUV in China
Xpeng recalls 13,399 G3 e-SUVs manufactured between 29 March 2019 and 27 September 2020 in China. A potential inverter problem may cause cars to lose power while running.
The G3 is the first model Xpeng is selling outside of its home market. Deliveries to customers in Norway began in December. Prices in Norway start at 358,000 kroner, the equivalent of around 33,700 euros.
The G3 has been on sale in China since December 2018, and since a minor update in summer 2019, the electric SUV comes with a range of 451 kilometres according to WLTP (520 km according to NEDC).
The recall currently only affects G3 cars in China.
