Nissan & partners to develop lunar rover

Nissan North America, along with partners Sierra Space and Teledyne Brown Engineering, will develop the Lunar Terrain Vehicle (LTV) for NASA to support future lunar exploration. Details of the planned lunar rover are not yet given, but it is expected to be electric.

Nissan had already presented the prototype for a lunar rover a few months ago, which relies on the all-wheel steering technology e-4ORCE from the electric model Nissan Ariya.
