The most unnecessary electric scooter ever? 

The smartphone refiner Caviar has presented the Thunderball electric kick scooter. It is partly made of 18-carat gold and is supposed to be able to reach speeds of up to 100 kph. The price stands at a hefty $49,000.

Caviar had previously refined a Tesla Model S Plaid+ in a similar fashion, where the company gold-plated the vehicle, jumping the price to 300,000 US dollars.
