Initially, the Fisker Ocean One Launch Edition version, limited to 5,000 units, is to be delivered. It is the top version with twin-motor all-wheel drive, the ‘Hyper Range’ battery option and the ‘Extreme’ package, for which a WLTP range of up to 707 kilometres is stated and which costs at least 67,272 euros.

“The entire Fisker team is excited to get the Fisker Ocean One launch edition to our reservation holders,” said Henrik Fisker, Chairman and CEO. “Our first delivery is expected for May 5. After that, we intend to deliver all Ocean Ones by the end of September while also initiating some deliveries of the Fisker Ocean Extreme, starting in Europe with the US to follow.”

The electric carmaker says it has already built vehicles in the mid-range trim level, the Ocean Ultra, with all-wheel drive. The Fisker Ocean Sport with front-wheel drive, the most affordable trim level, has also already been produced for registration purposes, it said. Deliveries of these variants are expected to begin in September.

The first European Fisker centres were opened a few weeks ago in Vienna and Copenhagen. Further centres and lounges throughout Europe and the USA will follow in the course of 2023. Fisker had already activated the configurator for the Ocean at the end of March – also for Germany. The 4.78-metre-long electric SUV is available in four variants. The basic version with single-motor front-wheel drive and the ‘Touring Range’ battery option for a WLTP range of 440 kilometres starts in the UK at prices from £34,990.

The Fisker Ocean is manufactured in Graz, Austria, by contract manufacturer Magna. Production started there last November. It is unclear whether this will also apply to the next Fisker model. At the end of November, CEO Henrik Fisker announced that the Fisker Pear might also be built in Europe – and (also possibly) without a partner. However, Fisker has not yet commented further on the development of these considerations.

Update 8 May 2023

The first Fisker Ocean Launch Edition has been handed over to its owner at the recently opened Fisker Centre in Copenhagen. Chairman and CEO Henrik Fisker himself handed over the keys to the limited Ocean One launch edition. In this case, the EV comes with Great White exterior paintwork, 22 inch AirGlider Black alloy wheels, and a white Sea Salt interior.
