Servotech Power Systems sets up charger plnat in India

Indian EV charger manufacturer Servotech Power Systems is setting up a factory in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The plant should open its doors in early 2025.

According to a media statement, Servotech plans to invest 3 billion rupees (around 36 million dollars) in the project, creating about 500 jobs. Once operational in the first quarter of 2025, the factory can churn out about 10,000 EV fast-chargers per year, which will be sold in India and abroad.

“Uttar Pradesh comprises the huge potential to become the manufacturing hub of Electric Vehicles, chargers, and batteries, etc.,” says Raman Bhatia, Founder and MD of Servotech Power Systems. “This opportunity has provided us the golden chance to establish a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant that will help to build a phenomenal ecosystem for EV charging and actively contribute to a clean & green environment.”

According to its own accounts, Servotech is a leading manufacturer of EV chargers, solar products, lithium batteries, and inverters.
