Zero Motorcycles lowers prices in North America

The US electric motorbike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles has permanently lowered the prices of all 2022 and 2023 models in North America by four-digit amounts. That also applies to electric motorcycles already sitting at dealerships.

The recommended retail prices are reduced by 1,000 to 4,500 US dollars, depending on the model. For example, the 1,000-dollar discount is available for the ZF7.2 model; after the price reduction, it will cost 11,995 dollars – for the 2022 model year, the ZF72nd is available from 10,995 dollars. The price reduction of 4,500 dollars affects the adventure model ZF17.3, which is still one of Zero’s most expensive motorbikes at 19,995 dollars. Other models have been reduced in price by $1,250, $3,000 or $4,000.

A more detailed price list can be found in the company’s press release linked below. The manufacturer justifies the move with improved production efficiency. It is still unclear whether Zero will follow suit in Europe with extensive price reductions.

“This MSRP reduction is another example of how Zero Motorcycles continues to lead the charge,” says Mike Cunningham, Zero Motorcycles VP of Sales. “It enables Zero to leverage its scale and manufacturing efficiency to make EV motorcycles accessible to a greater number of riders as demand increases and the industry continues to evolve.”
