Zero’s most powerful electric motorcycle to date

The U.S. manufacturer Zero Motorcycles has now presented the SR/F, its fastest electric motorcycle to date. The 82 kW strong electric bike has a torque of 190 Nm, a top speed of 200 kph, and a range of 322 kilometres that can be replenished fast, claims the company.

Harley Davidson airs technical details of the LiveWire

Harley-Davidson has published technical details about its first electric motorcycle, the LiveWire. The Harvey LEV will be launched in autumn this year and can be pre-ordered from U.S. dealers starting immediately. First prototypes can also be seen at the CES in Las Vegas.

Austria presents new EV subsidy packet

Austria has updated their subsidy packet for electrified vehicles for the years 2019 and 2020. Notable is that BEVs now receive a unified 3,000 euro subsidy each, but only up to a purchase price of 50,000 euro for private use or 60,000 euros for commercial use.

USA retroactively extends tax credits for e-mobility

The U.S. Congress has voted to retroactively extend tax credits for EV charging infrastructure, fuel cell vehicles and electric motorcycles through the end of 2017. Anyone who had invested in such vehicles or installation can qualify for these rebates on their upcoming tax return.
