Nissan to bring Ariya Nismo to Europe in early 2025
The all-wheel-drive Nissan Ariya e-4ORCE forms the basis for the battery-powered performance version of the electric SUV – in other words, the top engine in the regular range. To set itself apart from the latter, the car manufacturer promises visual modifications as well as improved power and torque distribution for the Ariya Nismo. Nissan made this public in July. In addition to the price tag, however, technical details were still missing at the time. Nissan has now made these public.
According to the manufacturer, the Nissan Ariya Nismo comes with the large 87 kWh battery of the series and achieves 320 kW of power and 600 Nm of maximum torque. It should be able to sprint from 0 to 100 kph in 5 seconds and from 80 to 120 kph in 2.4 seconds. By way of comparison, the Ariya e-4ORCE stops at a system output of 290 kW.

The Ariya Nismo will be available from January in all European countries where the standard model is also available, except Cyprus, Malta and Northern Ireland. The arrival of the performance electric car marks the return of the Nismo motorsport brand in Europe. Although Nismo variants of the electric Nissan Leaf have been shown repeatedly over several model years, none have made it to Europe. That is changing with the Ariya.
Visually, the new add-on parts on the front and rear aprons of the electric SUV in the Nismo look are striking. However, the red trim strips are particularly eye-catching. The electric car not only looks sharper. Thanks to the improved aerodynamics, Nissan says it has even been able to reduce drag and improve downforce at higher speeds.
The interior has also been redesigned: The predominantly black interior is complemented by eye-catching red accents. These can be found in the centre console and in various decorative stitchings. Special Nismo seats ‘in suede-like material’ are also intended to be reminiscent of Formula E and provide more support.
