Cadillac brings electric, luxury seven-seater SUV Vistiq to Europe
Last November, Cadillac unveiled the Vistiq, an electric SUV that sits between the huge Escalade IQ and the more compact Lyriq. While the GM brand has used the Lyriq for its comeback in Europe, no other vehicle has been available on the continent via the official Cadillac sales channels until now. This is now changing with the Vistiq, which is the second model in Cadillac’s all-electric European portfolio.
With a length of 5.20 metres, the car is 60 centimetres shorter than the Escalade IQ, which will also soon be sold worldwide. The engine output is 452 kW, and the car can sprint from zero to 100 kph in 3.7 seconds.
Cadillac’s Vistiq has a 102 kWh battery and a WLTP range of 460 kilometres. The power consumption is 21.8 kWh / 100 kilometres. In terms of fast-charging performance, Cadillac states that the Vistiq can recharge a range of 159 kilometres within 15 minutes with an output of 190 kW.
The Vistiq is intended to represent luxury and set new standards in the areas of design, technology and suitability for everyday use, according to the manufacturer. It is optionally available in a seven-seater configuration or with six seats and comfortable ‘Captain’s Chairs’ in rows two and three. The interior features high-quality materials such as open-pore real wood decor, carbon-look accents and the leather-free Noveauluxe material or luxurious Black Ash Cluster wood.
At the sales launch, the new Cadillac Vistiq will be available in the two high-quality equipment lines, ‘Luxury’ and ‘Premium Luxury’. The Luxury model starts at 99,640 euros, while the Premium Luxury model is available for 110,503 euros. The first customer deliveries of the Vistiq in Europe are planned for September 2025. Cadillac has announced the Optiq as the third model for Europe. This is also an electric SUV, but it will be even smaller than the Vistiq and Lyriq.
At the same time as the sales launch of the Vistiq in the first European markets, the manufacturer has also opened a Cadillac store in Sweden, the ‘Cadillac City Stockholm.’ “Sweden is at the forefront of electrification and shares our vision for a more sustainable future, making Stockholm the ideal location for our European debut,” said Pere Brugal, President and Managing Director of General Motors Europe.
