DKV Mobility integrates MOL chargers into network

DKV Mobility has integrated the charging infrastructure of the energy company MOL into its Europe-wide roaming network. With immediate effect, charging processes at all 480 MOL charging points in Hungary, Romania, Slovenia, Croatia, the Czech Republic and Slovakia can be billed via DKV.

MOL Plugee’s charging stations are activated and billed via the ‘DKV Card +Charge’. In addition to the existing charging infrastructure, all new charging points put into operation by MOL Plugee will also be automatically integrated into the DKV Mobility acceptance network. The charging points will be integrated using software from GreenFlux, a subsidiary of DKV Mobility.

“By connecting the charging points of MOL Plugee, we are setting another milestone in the expansion of our acceptance network in Central and Eastern Europe,” said Sven Mehringer, Managing Director Energy & Vehicle Services at DKV Mobility. However, the company has also integrated charging points into its EV roaming network in other parts of Europe in recent weeks. Most recently, more than 2,400 additional charging points were integrated in mid-May through a partnership with the British charging station management provider Fuusee. At the beginning of May, more than 1,150 new EasyGo charging points were added in Ireland.

With the 480 new MOL charging points now spread across Hungary, Romania, Slovenia, Croatia, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, DKV Mobility says it now offers access to around 938,000 charging points, around 45,000 of which are in the UK. The charging network could break the million mark before the end of this year.
