Integrals Power signs supply deal with Euro Manganese

Canadian battery materials company Euro Manganese has signed a long-term LOI and Offtake Term Sheet with UK battery technology company Integrals Power. The final agreement is still subject to validation.

Under the agreement, Euro Manganese will supply high-purity manganese sulphate monohydrate (HPMSM) from its Chvaletice manganese project in the Czech Republic for the production of LMFP cathode materials by Integrals Power.

However, the deal is not yet fully finalised, as Integrals Power writes that “the companies will jointly undertake a testing program beginning in the third quarter of 2025. This program will assess the compatibility and performance of Euro Manganese’s HPMSM in Integrals Power’s cathode material production processes. Upon successful validation, the product will be pre-qualified as a reliable feedstock, opening the door for future collaborations between the two companies.”

The off-take agreement is set to run for a term of seven years from the start of the first phase of commercial production, with the option to extend the contract for another four years.

“IPL’s innovative cathode materials are at the forefront of the global transition towards safer, more sustainable, and cost-effective battery solutions and are designed to support a wide range of applications,” explained Martina Blahova, CEO of Euro Manganese.

Behnam Hormozi, CEO of Integrals Power, added: “Our collaboration with Euro Manganese is a major step forward in securing a reliable, traceable, and local supply of high-purity manganese — a key ingredient in our L(M)FP cathode materials. This partnership enhances Integrals Power’s ability to scale cathode production sustainably while supporting the growing demand for high-performance battery technologies across UK & Europe. It aligns perfectly with our mission to build a resilient, transparent supply chain that underpins the energy transition.”

Just a few months ago, Integrals Power had reported progress on its LMFP battery cell architecture. The company also made a report about its cell technology progress in 2024, so the new deal is likely a culmination of these efforts.
