Ultraviolette Automotive expands to France
Ultraviolette has launched only its high-performance models in Europe – F77 Mach 2 and F77 Superstreet. The company offers the Tesseract maxi-scooter and Shockwave enduro motorcycle also in the home market, but it has yet to announce them in export markets.
Celebrating the key phase of its international expansion, Ultraviolette Automotive is giving customers discounts on both models in France. The company has priced the F77 Mach 2 at €9,990 and the F77 Superstreet at €10,390, but for early birds pre-ordering them by 31 July, it is slashing the prices to €8,990 and €9,290, respectively.
The F77 Mach 2 and F77 Superstreet are two versions of the same motorcycle with minor differences. The former offers a more comfortable stance with a high-set regular handlebar, while the latter offers a more aggressive position with a low-set clip-on handlebar.
Both F77 models have a permanent magnet AC motor that produces 30 kW and 100 Nm of torque and they possess the same performance capabilities, accelerating from 0 to 100 kph in 7.7 seconds and achieving a top speed of 155 kph. The rider can choose from ten different levels of regenerative braking and three ride modes: Glide, Combat, and Ballistic.
Powering the permanent magnet AC motor is an IP67-rated 10.3 kWh battery pack that delivers a range of 231 km in the city and 143 km on the highway, both as per WMTC. Customers can charge it from 20% to 80% SoC in two and a half hours. Ultraviolette Automotive provides a five-year/100,000 km warranty on the battery pack and drivetrain and a three-year/30,000 km vehicle warranty as standard.
In addition to France, Ultraviolette Automotive is present in Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, the UK and Ireland in Europe. The company expects to start deliveries in August or September and aims to export 500 units to the region this year.
