Lucid increases quarterly deliveries – again

It is the third consecutive delivery record! Lucid Motors produced 3,863 electric cars in the second quarter and delivered 3,309 vehicles. This also marks the best half-year in the company’s history.

While Lucid only surpassed its previous record from Q4/2024 by ten vehicles in the first quarter – reaching 3,109 deliveries – the new record figure from the quarter ending in June is somewhat more pronounced: with 3,309 EVs, the company increased deliveries by 200 units.

In the first half of the year, the EV maker produced 6,075 units of its two models, Air and Gravity, and delivered 6,418 vehicles. Lucid had built up high inventory levels, especially in 2023, but reduced these over the course of 2024. It did so by steadily increasing quarterly deliveries and significantly reducing production on a quarterly basis, as the following chart shows.

The low production numbers in Q1 2025 are partly attributable to the ramp-up of Gravity manufacturing. With production of the new electric SUV running alongside the Air electric saloon, Lucid had to adjust operations at its Casa Grande plant in Arizona. The more than 3,800 vehicles built in Q2 2025 suggest that production has been scaled up and processes are now running smoothly. Lucid has never built this many vehicles in a single quarter before.

Beyond the Q2 and half-year production and delivery figures, the company did not provide further details in its brief announcement. Lucid will present its full financial results for the second quarter on 5 August 2025.
