Bravida orders 500 electric transporters from Ford for Danish fleet

Ford has received an order from the Danish company Bravida for 500 new electric delivery vans. The order includes at least 350 E-Transit Custom and 150 E-Transit Courier models for delivery in 2026. Combined with the existing electric vehicles in the customer's fleet, the E-Transit vans will account for 60 percent of the company's total fleet.

Bravida is a Swedish provider of comprehensive technical solutions in the fields of service and installation. The company positions itself as the Scandinavian market leader for technical building installations and also maintains a large subsidiary in Denmark. With the 500 newly ordered battery-electric transporters, Bravida’s battery-electric fleet in Denmark will now grow to over 800 vehicles. The company had already ordered 300 Ford E-Transit models from Ford for delivery in 2025.

For Ford Denmark, this order represents a record. “We are extremely proud of our partnership with Bravida, which is significantly accelerating the electrification of transporters in Denmark,” said Frank Skjærbæk, Managing Director for Ford at importer NCG Motor Company. NCG stands for the Danish Nic. Christiansen Group.

The partners announced the order for 500 new battery-electric transporters at the recent Fleet Network Expo in Copenhagen. The vehicles will be delivered with, among other features, ‘a comprehensive safety and comfort package’ designed to support Bravida’s technicians in their daily operations. “With this order, we are reinforcing our commitment to accelerating the transition to electric vehicles within our fleet,” commented Christian Also, CEO of Bravida Denmark. “Ford’s transporters excel in all our key criteria and feature a top-tier safety package, which was absolutely crucial for us.”
