Lucid delivers nearly 16,000 Electric Vehicles in 2025

California-based EV manufacturer Lucid increased its deliveries by 55 percent to 15,841 vehicles last year. Lucid likely benefited primarily from the first full year of deliveries for its second model, the Lucid Gravity.

Lucid also achieved a significant increase on a quarterly basis: in the fourth quarter of 2025, the company delivered 5,345 vehicles. This marked a 31% rise compared to the third quarter of 2025, during which Lucid first surpassed the 4,000-vehicle mark in a single quarter. It also represented a 72% increase over the 3,099 vehicles delivered in the fourth quarter of 2024.

Production figures also saw a substantial rise: Lucid produced 8,412 vehicles in the fourth quarter of 2025, a 116% increase compared to Q3 2025 and a 148% rise over Q4 2024. For the entire year, Lucid manufactured 18,378 vehicles—a 104% increase over 2024. This slightly exceeds the board’s recently revised forecast of 18,000 units, but remains below the original target of 20,000 units.

Lucid has not yet commented on the production and delivery figures but is expected to do so when it presents its quarterly results on 24 February. Recently, the company highlighted challenges related to the market launch of its electric SUV, the Gravity, though it anticipated a significant increase in deliveries of this model in the fourth quarter. This aligns with the substantial rise in Q4 deliveries, although Lucid has not provided a breakdown of figures between its first model, the luxury electric saloon Lucid Air, and the Lucid Gravity, which has been available for order in the USA since autumn 2024 and in Europe since the IAA 2025.

Looking ahead, Lucid plans to expand its portfolio further by introducing a significantly more affordable model: a mid-size electric car. According to previous statements from management, this model is expected to start at around $48,000 to $50,000 and could compete with Tesla’s Model Y. The unveiling of this third Lucid model is planned for summer 2026, with production potentially starting at the end of 2026 and deliveries beginning in 2027.

This year, Lucid will also focus on its robotaxi project. In collaboration with tech company Nuro, Lucid is developing a robotaxi based on the Lucid Gravity, which will be available for booking via Uber’s ride-hailing platform. To accelerate the programme, Uber invested $300 million in Lucid last year. Initial road tests are already underway, and Uber aims to integrate at least 20,000 robotaxis from Lucid into its platform over the next six years.
