Over the course of 2025, Electify America managed to surpass 5,600 chargers in North America, as well as having opened two large-format stations of 20+ chargers in California. Furthermore, the company reports that over 1,100 EV chargers were upgraded to next-generation chargers. These next-gen DC fast-charging stations deliver up to 350 kW.

On the user side, the company also managed a new record: drivers completed over 20 million charging sessions on the network, marking a 21 per cent increase over the year before. Furthermore, Electrify America managed to increase its total energy delivered by 26 per cent, surpassing a total of 750 GWh. In May 2025, Electrify America announced plans to expand its charging network by 30 per cent by the end of the year.

The company also enhanced its network via an integration with Google Maps, allowing for users to view real-time charging data. A collaboration with real estate property firm Simon was also launched last year, with 105 charging hubs opened at Simon retail locations.

“As we approach our 10-year anniversary, I think about the millions of drivers who have shaped Electrify America into what it stands for today. Our year-over-year growth isn’t just a sign of a strong company; it reflects a growing community of EV drivers who believe in an electric future — and we’re honored to be their charging provider along the way,” commented Robert Barrosa, president and CEO of Electrify America.
