Microlino launches in Norway
The Swiss firm has appointed a local partner to coordinate its market presence, customer advisory services, maintenance, servicing, and warranty processing in Norway. This move aims to strengthen long-term support for the Norwegian Microlino community. The headquarters is located in Sandnes, with the operational site in the Stavanger region serving as a central hub for advisory services, technical support, and after-sales care.
Microlino appears to be collaborating with a local partner: Microlino Norge AS shares its address with Egeland Auto, a dealership that, according to its website, offers ‘used cars in all price ranges’—and now includes the Microlino. Its current stock includes four Microlinos, priced between 214,900 and 299,000 NOK, which currently equates to roughly 19,100 to 26,600 euros.
Microlino Norge AS is committed to supporting the long-term establishment of the Microlino brand in Norway, with a clear focus on quality, reliability, and sustainable mobility solutions. The announcement underscores Norway’s significance as a market: “Norway is widely recognized as a pioneer in electrification and a market that values innovation, design andsustainability. Through Microlino Norge AS, Microlino aims to establish a compact, stylish and sustainableform of urban mobility for the long termin Norway.”
One thing is clear: the vehicle, developed in Switzerland and manufactured in Turin, will be offered in Norway in two versions—the Microlino Lite, limited to 45 km/h, and the standard Microlino model, capable of speeds up to 90 km/h. Depending on the battery selected, the range varies between 95 and 228 kilometres. The Microlino remains a modern reinterpretation of the legendary Isetta, featuring compact dimensions and a front-opening door. This battery-electric vehicle was designed to enable cleaner urban transport.
