US introduces new battery ruling for EV subsidies

The USA has introduced a new subsidy requirement for batteries, now causing many electric vehicles to lose eligibility for the available tax credit of up to $7,500. The list of eligible electric and hybrid vehicles was reduced from 43 to 19. (UPDATE BELOW)
