In Austria, the Vienna public transport provider Wiener Linien is gradually adding 60 electric buses from Daimler Buses to its bus fleet with immediate effect. Charging infrastructure is being provided by fast chargers on the route and plug-in chargers in the depot. The public transport operator plans to convert nine bus routes to battery-powered vehicles by 2025. (Update at the end of the article)
