Rolls-Royce completes winter testing for the Spectre
Rolls-Royce has completed winter testing of its first electric model, the Spectre, in the Arctic Circle in temperatures as low as minus 40 degrees, about a quarter of the 2.5 million test kilometres planned for the battery-electric car. There are also rumours about the BEV’s drive system.

This March, we accompanied Mercedes-Benz Vans live for their winter testing of the upcoming electric transporter in northern Sweden. The eSprinter took off from the Arctic Circle and scored well with its sophisticated thermal management system and generously packed battery.
Mercedes eVito van undergoes winter testing
The development team behind the Mercedes electric van was in Northern Sweden testing the van during the past few weeks. The focus of the testing series in Arjeplog, near the arctic circle, was to test cold starts as well as charging and driving behaviour at minus temperatures.
