Czech government & CEZ plan battery plant
The Czech government has approved an MoU with the majority state-owned energy company CEZ to build a “gigafactory” in the country to produce batteries for electric cars. The investment is to amount to around two billion euros.
Hungary: CEZ to install fast charging stations
The Czech Energy Group (CEZ) has been tasked with setting up fast charging stations in Hungary. The expansion is part of a $44M investment, first in their home nation before coming to Hungary, Bulgaria, Poland, Romania and Slovakia in the next decade.
