BMW and Mercedes sell Share Now to Stellantis
BMW and Mercedes-Benz plan on selling their joint car-sharing business Share Now to Stellantis. The three companies have signed an agreement but agreed to leave the deal’s details undisclosed. The transaction is still subject to approval by the antitrust authorities.
5,000 Lightyear electric cars for sharing via MyWheels
In the Netherlands, the solar car start-up Lightyear is cooperating with The Sharing Group to integrate its vehicles into their car-sharing platform MyWheels. Lightyear is also making its Lightyear One sedan significantly more expensive for private customers.
Vulog begins own car-sharing testbed in Lyon
Software provider Vulog is launching an electrified free-floating car-sharing service in the Lyon metropolitan area that will serve as a testing ground for new technological features. The service, called Leo&Go will use 100 of the fully-electric 100 Peugeot e-208s and 200 Toyota Yaris Hybrids.

UFODrive offers EV fleet management software
The electric car rental company UFODrive has launched a fleet management software for electric cars. The Luxembourg-based company already rents electric vehicles in various European cities and now also offers the new software ‘eMobility Fleet Manager’.
