Leicester to electrify 200 buses by 2030
In England, the city of Leicester has presented a plan that, among other things, envisages converting half of the bus fleet to electric by 2025 and the entire fleet by 2030. This involves more than 200 vehicles.
First Bus order 125 electric buses from BYD-ADL
UK electric bus partners BYD and ADL have received another major order from Scotland. The operator First Bus has ordered 126 electric buses for use in Glasgow. These are 91 double-decker and 35 single-deck buses, which are to operate in Glasgow from March 2023.
E-buses from BYD headed to COP26 in Glasgow & Kyoto
Major electric bus maker BYD has received orders from the UK and Japan, and the US to deliver zero-emission vehicles. At least the electric buses headed for Glasgow and Kyoto will make for a sight, whereas the EVs going to the US will go there silently.
