New acceleration world record.
By going in exactly 1.779 seconds from zero to 100 kph in the electric racer E0711-5, the Greenteam of the University Stuttgart set a new world record for the fastest acceleration of an electric vehicle. The previous record of 1.785 seconds had been set by Swiss e-racer “Grimsel.”
