Horizon update: The EU Commission has published its list of grant opportunities as part of the Horizon 2020 programme. “Green Vehicles” will thus benefit from 133m euros in 2017, including 20m euros for the “development of a new generation of cells and their integration in competitive batteries.”
Starred electric truck: Mercedes will present its “urban eTruck” concept in Stuttgart today. The all-electric heavy-duty truck can lug up to 25 tons. We are not allowed to tell you more just yet, but you can follow the live-stream starting at 10:30 a.m. CET.

New momentum for Apple: The company’s former executive Apple Watch project leader Bob Mansfield is taking over the electric car project “Titan.” Mansfield would therefore take over form Steve Zadesky, who left the IT giant in January (we reported).
Tesla and Mobileye end cooperation: The Israeli company announced the end of its partnership with the EV maker. Whether it has something to do with the fatal car crash involving the Autopilot is not clear.
