North Carolina gains e-school buses and EV charge points
In the USA, the purchase of around 160 electric school buses is being funded with $30.1 million from the Volkswagen Settlement Program for North Carolina. The funding is being managed by the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ).

EVgo enters partnership with the City of Portland, Maine
EVgo has signed into a public-private partnership with Portland, Maine’s largest city, to deploy electric vehicle charging stations on city-owned property. Through the partnership, EVgo will install eight DC fast chargers (DCFC) and up to 44 Level 2 chargers across Portland.

SemaConnect launches its first home charging station
Charging infrastructure provider SemaConnect, usually in the B2B area, presents its first consumer product, the Series 4 EV Home Charger. The company has opened the order books for the Level 2 charging station and expects shipping to start in December.

France writes-off ChaDeMo standard in new legislation
The end of the CHAdeMO fast-charging standard is on the horizon in France. While a 2017-decree made CHAdeMO mandatory for DC-charging stations alongside CCS and Type 2 by the end of 2024, the government has now revised its plans.
