The new EU project REEsilience focuses on the supply chain for rare-earth-based magnetic materials in Europe. These magnets are crucial in building wind turbines, sensors, and especially electric vehicles.
The British research project RaRE has set itself the goal of setting up a continuous supply chain to integrate recycled rare earth magnets into electric vehicles. Bentley is one of the companies involved in the project, which is led by HyProMag, a spin-off from the University of Birmingham.

New BMW Lightweight centre: The German manufacturer has laid the foundation for its new Lightweight Design Center at BMW’s Landshut site.
