Walmart Canada has ordered another 30 electric Semi trucks from Tesla. 15 of the electric trucks had been ordered in November 2017, ten of which were destined for Canada, and five for the US.
Nikola Motor sues Tesla over design patent violation
Nikola Motor has filed a lawsuit against Tesla claiming the Semi electric truck to be “substantially” similar to Nikola Motor’s own design of a fuel cell electric semi truck. In the filing, the infringement is estimated to be worth a loss of 2 billion dollars to Nikola. Tesla denies the allegations.
FedEx orders 20 Tesla Semi
The US logistics giant is the newest on the list of Teslas prominent customers for its electric semi-truck. FedEx announced their pre-order of 20 Tesla Semis. They are designated for use in the freight division of the company.

The Californian EV maker has installed an official reservation option on its website, paving the way for everybody to reserve one of the company’s electric trucks. PepsiCo directly orders 100 Tesla Semi trucks in the largest preorder to date.
