Dana to supply drive components for Switch
US automotive supplier Dana is partnering with Switch Mobility (formerly Optare), the UK subsidiary of India’s Ashok Leyland. Specifically, Dana is to supply electric drive components for Switch Mobility’s range of buses and commercial vehicles.
Optare Group now called Switch Mobility
In New Delhi, India’s second-largest commercial vehicle manufacturer Ashok Leyland announced that its fully-owned UK subsidiary Optare Group would be renamed Switch Mobility as part of an expanded focus on electric and sustainable transport.
