Zeekr completes 10,000th 001 BEV
Only about three months after the start of production, Geely’s premium electric brand Zeekr has reported the production of the 10,000th unit of its debut BEV 001. In addition, further details about the production technology at the Ningbo plant have been revealed.
Zeekr is getting ready for EU entry
Chinese premium electric brand Zeekr, which belongs to the Geely Group, plans to offer its first model in the EU from the beginning of 2023. By 2025, the brand wants to expand its range to seven models and export a total of 100,000 vehicles.

Zeekr raises $500 million from investors
Geely’s premium electric car brand Zeekr has raised a total of 500 million US dollars from external investors – the equivalent of about 424 million euros. The five strategic investors include the Chinese battery cell manufacturer CATL.
BorgWarner announces new orders from China
BorgWarner has announced the first order for its integrated drive module (iDM) from China. It comes from an unnamed “leading Chinese luxury electric vehicle brand”. BorgWarner has also received an order from the Chinese Geely brand Zeekr.
New details on the scope of Geely SEA e-platform
Details on the scope of Geely’s SEA (Sustainable Experience Architecture) electric platform have come to light. According to a media report, there will be five versions of the electric platform for all relevant vehicle classes, and these will always have two battery options.
Geely to launch electric premium subsidiary ‘Zeekr’
