Hybrid Bugatti? Sources at the VW group, owner of the French supercar brand, confirmed that the successor of the Veyron could get a hybrid heart. According to Reuters, this is a request of Bugatti’s new chief executive Wolfgang Dürheimer, who also is CEO at Bentley.

Honda recalls hybrids: The company is recalling 175,356 Fit and Vezel Hybrids in Japan. The reason is a software problem which might cause the motor to accelerate unexpectedly. Eleven accidents have already been reported, though none of them heavy or deadly.
